THE BRIEF
Create and present a self-brief project (major design project), which is the result of a development process in this yearlong unit of study.
OUTCOMES
Poh Poh is a recipe and food experience book created to honour my Poh Poh which means ‘Grandma’ is Cantonese. A collection of recipes that have been cooked for me and my brother since I was younger, and now is able to be passed down to future generations.
Since the Covid 19 pandemic started there have been growing issues amongst people of Asian descent. This has impacted me personally being Asian. I believe the problem stems from ignorance and a lack of understanding around Asian’s and their culture, so I am addressing this by educating others, giving insight into our way of life and helping to understand more about a different culture than their own.
