Studio-based project in collaboration with the makeup school. In high end fashion, imagination is key and many elements of fantasy and make-believe are a common approach that serves to take the clothing out of the sphere of the everyday and place them into their own context.
OUTCOMES
Live plucking of geese is a serious issue of animal abuse. It was revealed that the feathers were plucked off while the birds are still alive, upside down and held between the persons knees. These photographs show my model in pain, the same way geese feel when being tortured. What if humans were skinned alive for geese to keep warm?
